Art Room Update ~ In Need, Indeed!

This is our art/laundry room.

As you can tell this room is lacking in the creative energy department.

Dull

Drab
Dreary

'Lil Peanut and I are not feelin' our creative energy is being put to good use in here.

 But, we must...we must...we must increase our...oops!

bountiful space...for our love of art!

Until, then...

We need practical organization and purty colors to motivate our creative juices.

I really fancy this color palette by Stephanie N. Baker
I think the green colors would blend happily with the rest of the house.
And the pink tones look energetic!

This room is colorful, fun, whimsical, and happy.

Just what is needed in a space for creativity.

I want to replace these lights... 

With something like this!

We can take our ribbons out from under the cabinet...

And put them on rods like this.

No more rummaging around for the perfect ribbon.

I could have my under cabinets look systematically put together like this. 

I like the baskets on the doors for extra storage.
Clever and handy!

I could make better use out of this wall...

By installing a peg board like this.  

Possibly paint it a color from the palette.

I could get rid of this bulky carousel underneath the cabinet...

And put our paint in cheery bins like these and label each one by color.

Hope Home Depot here I come!
